Symbol of Hope International (SOHi) is a Non-Governmental Organization which is duly registered and certified according to the laws of Ghana. SOHi focuses on advocacy and development. Symbol of Hope International primarily seeks to contribute to learning and development, as well as providing preventive healthcare opportunities to children in deprived communities. We understand that every child has the right to equal educational opportunities and therefore, no child shall be deprived or denied of them.
Advocacy We work to create awareness of the need for all to be proactive in providing the right environment for children to learn and grow. Children should be encouraged to attend school to aspire to greater heights. We also recognize that adults and children should be well informed on health issues and how they can live in a safe and healthy environment. The Foundation main goals are as follows: To promote and provide sustainable literacy and skills training to basic and junior high school children in deprived communities in Ghana. To provide preventive healthcare opportunities especially eyecare to these children in the society, And to provide a sustainable platform to encourage volunteerism among the youth.
